Tableau V6.0 has been released today, and represents a game changing release from the game changers in Business Intelligence software.

To celebrate this release, The Information Lab is please to announce TWO FREE onsite training sessions for organisations already using Tableau, DURING NOVEMBER. The course is designed to help you take advantage of the new features and performance enhancements now available.

Course contents:

1.   Data blending - how to take advantage of V6.0 features allowing you to join data sources of different types. Think sales figures in SQL server, sales budgets in excel

2.   The impact of the data engine - how to handle 30 million row datasets

3.   Combination charts - much, much more than a simple line on a bar. There are so many uses of this great new feature.

4.   Parameters - instant what if analysis using substitution values

5.   Mark History - use the pages shelf to create dramatic views which retain their history during animations

6.   A brief look at Server improvements, including how to use Tabbed Views

This course is available FREE to TWO organisations currently using Tableau, and looking to understand how to make the best of V6.0.

Unfortunately The Information Lab is only able to extend this free offer to organisations based in London, UK. If this does not include you, please contact us to discuss alternatives.

Please contact The Information Lab if you are interested in this training opportunity.

I just wanted to give Tom a big thank you for the training session today. He really gave us a lot of his time, he could explain complex topics easily and he was agile at changing the pace of the training to cover our knowledge level.

I am well and truly in love with the book he gave me.
